Signed, sealed, done.
For a fraction of the price.
Upload a PDF or Word document, let Docnez find where to sign, and send a link. Your client signs on any phone or computer, and you get a signed PDF with a certificate of completion.
Free plan includes 2 documents a month. No card required.

How it works
Three steps from upload to signed.
Upload a PDF or Word document
Drag in a contract, NDA or agreement, as a PDF or a Word file.
Review detected fields
Docnez suggests signature, name, title and date fields, plus optional initials on every page.
Send the link
Your signer signs on phone or desktop. You get the signed PDF and certificate.

The people you send to just open the link and sign.
Clear fields on every contract
Signature, date and initials boxes are clearly marked for each person, so nobody misses a spot. Here is a sample agreement for a fictional renovation company.
- Colour-coded fields per signer
- Initials on every page
- Dates fill in automatically

Fields placed for you
Upload a PDF or Word document and Docnez reads the text for labels like Signature, Print Name, Title and Date. Each suggestion is shown on the page with a confidence level, and nothing is added until you approve it.
- Review every suggestion before adding
- Optional initials box on every page
- Add more fields by tapping the page

Signing that works on a phone
Your signer taps the link, agrees to sign electronically, then draws or types a signature. Initials entered once fill every page. No app, no account.
- No signer account or download
- Draw or type a signature
- Clear progress and a Finish button

Track every document
See each document’s status at a glance and download the signed PDF as soon as it is complete.
- Filter by status
- Signed PDF one click away
- Team users on Team and Business

Bring your documents with you
Moving from another e-signature service? After you sign up, import your signed documents, templates and contacts in a few simple steps. Your signed records are kept in a read-only archive, clearly marked as imported.

- Templates and contacts too
- Sign up free to get started

A certificate with every signature
Each signed PDF ends with a certificate of completion: signers, consent and signing times, IP address, device, and SHA-256 hashes of the document.
- Full event log in UTC
- Document fingerprints (SHA-256)
- Anyone can verify a signed PDF

What Docnez does today to protect and prove your documents.
HTTPS everywhere
Docnez and every signing link are served over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Certificate of completion
Uploads, link issuance, views, consent, signatures and completion are logged with time and IP address, and summarized in a certificate at the end of every signed PDF.
Sealed with a digital certificate
Every completed PDF is sealed with a Docnez digital certificate. Any later change to the file breaks the seal, and PDF readers can show the signature details.
Tamper-evident audit trail
Each audit entry is linked to the one before it by a SHA-256 hash, and the final record is signed, so edited or deleted entries are detected. The public Verify page checks the seal, the file’s hash and the audit trail.
Single-use signing links
Once a document is signed, its link cannot be used to sign again. Links expire after a set period.
Two-step sign-in
Account owners and teammates can turn on authenticator-app two-step sign-in.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 2 documents a month with no card required.
Can I upload Word documents, or only PDFs?
Both. Upload a PDF or a Word document (.docx, .doc, .odt or .rtf, up to 20 MB). Docnez turns a Word file into a PDF, finds the signature and date lines for you to confirm, and your signers sign that PDF. Check the converted pages before you send; if a complex layout shifts, save it as a PDF from Word and upload that instead.
Do signers need an account?
No. Signers open the link you send and sign in their browser, on phone or desktop.
What currency are prices in?
All prices are in US dollars. Choose monthly billing, or annual billing to save about 25%. Taxes may apply.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can change or cancel your plan from the billing page.
How can someone check a signed PDF?
Anyone can upload a signed PDF to the Verify page to check it matches the file Docnez finalized.
Who operates Docnez?
Docnez is operated by Nezuna Technologies Inc., a Canadian company.
